Greek interests and concerns go beyond the confines of campus life. Sorority's sponsor many activities each year to support the local community and raise money for special philanthropies or identified causes. Each chapter donates time to a particular project either locally or nationally.
Many individual Greek women volunteer in local programs to benefit the Athens community. The opportunities you will encounter to help philanthropies and the community are endless. The ability to give yourself and your time is one of the most important qualities you will cultivate while being a part of a sorority.
