Join A Sorority

  •

    Dear Potential New Members,

Welcome to Ohio University, and welcome to Greek Life!  I am excited for you to learn more about our Greek Community. This is an exciting time to be Greek and I hope you will take advantage of the amazing opportunities that Greek Life offers. Sorority life is a tradition deeply rooted in the history of Ohio University. For over 100 years, sororities have strived for high levels of excellence in sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Over 1,100 outstanding women are active within our Community. This diverse population of leaders is known for their achievements both in the classroom and within the Athens community. The all-Sorority GPA continues to remain higher than the all-female and all-undergraduate average. Valuing philanthropy, chapters and WPA consistently perform acts of service and raise money for national philanthropies and the Athens community.

During their time spent at Ohio University, sorority women develop lifelong friendships, promote positive values, and develop leadership skills. Each chapter is an essential piece of our Greek system and the recruitment process helps you find the chapter perfect for you! I hope to see you as a part of our Greek community as we continue to celebrate Greek Life at Ohio University.

    Go Bobcats! Go Greek!
