Dear Potential New Members,
First and foremost, I am excited for you to learn more about Ohio University’s Greek Community. Our Women’s Panhellenic Association is the governing body of all nine National Panhellenic Conference sororities. These women stand for sisterhood, scholarship, leadership and service.
Over 1,100 outstanding women are active within the Greek Community at OU. This diverse community of leaders is known for their achievements both in the classroom and within the Athens community. Panhellenic women excel academically, earning higher GPAs than the all-female and all-undergraduate averages. Valuing philanthropy, chapters and WPA consistently perform acts of service and raise money for national philanthropies.
Joining a sorority helps you grow as a woman, particularly as a strong leader. Women are involved within their own chapters, but also through scholastic chapters and other university organizations.
Greek friendships are life loyal friends - a network of fellow professionals, linked by real world business skills.
Each chapter is an essential piece of our Greek system. The recruitment process helps you to find the house perfect for you! I hope to see you as a part of our Greek Community, proudly representing honorable and distinct letters.
